St Kilda Rd Pilgrimage

Rode across to St Kilda Rd to take some photos the other night. Failed to race the storm home on my single speed. Camera gear stayed moderately dry thanks to one of Stu Crumpler's camera bags. Nice to see an industrial designer who has done good. Thanks to the dudes at the shrine for being good sports.

Is there a story behind the "dudes at the shrine" being good sports? Didn't beat you up and take your camera, or kindly stayed out of shot?

That last shot is fantastic, and I agree with Capital Mum that it looks like a monolithic temple in the middle of nowhere. Excellent stuff.

The eternal flame is in the forecourt of the Shrine. If you look to the right of the flame you will see some blury figures. They were fine about being in the photo provided that I let them see the pic on the camera back.

Marvin,

You probably commented ages ago. Sorry about my tardiness. I use a Pentax Ist DS with either a Sigma 17 to 50mm lens or a Tokina 28 to 105mm lens.

Cheers
